An intimate portrait of an old Syrian couple filmed over the first four years of the Syrian war in Damascus city. The filmmaker, who happens to be their daughter, was living these difficult times with them, having no electricity most of the time, they had to wait in darkness. Surprisingly, this gives the filmmaker time to get closer to her parents with her camera. By candle light in this middle class Syrian home, moments of waiting, revealing secrets and clashes of two generations shared. Yet, nothing and everything is happening at the same time. This film is about darkness, holding on, and coming closer, as an act of resistance.
